I have worked as a Maintenance manager in the housing sector for 13 years managing a team of Supervisors, Quality Engineers and Inspectors with up to sixty Tradesmen and Engineers.I have a wealth of experience in housing construction repairs and maintenance, including gas and electricity and I am currently qualified as a Gas Engineer until September 2017 when my A.C.S is due. I have been a member of the Leadership International Academy from 2007 to 2017 and I have received awards for excellence in Great Attitude, Commitment and Perseverance and have six other awards for excellence from my last employer.I set up and managed the gas and electrical sections of the Direct Labour Organisation (DLO), and subsequently managed the response repairs and the gas and electrical servicing and compliance programme.Ensured that repairs were carried out to a very high standard and in accordance with all Health and Safety compliance requirements.Actively managed the call out team and was the on call Manager 24/7 for twelve years, until it was split between four managers in 2016.Managed a budget of 4.2 Million Pounds for repairs and cyclical works ensuring that KPI's were met and were achieved within budget.Proactively increased the first time fix levels by improving the management of field staff, van stock, additional training and motivating staff to achieve improved value for money.I am always willing to carry out voluntary and charitable work for others.My Hobbies include: Singing in the Rock Choir, Piano Accordion, Motor Cycling, Cycling, and keep fit.
