Pete Scanlon is a consultant sales development specialist with many years’ experience in the food retail fixturing sector. His ability to think outside the box, has earned him a reputation as an innovative new account development specialist with strong team building skills. Pete has a wealth of industry experience in retail checkouts, fixtures, millwork, shelving and merchandising. He has helped open up new business with his ‘Discovery’ approach to help clarify issues, overcome pain points; to identify, then implement focused relevant solution strategies for his customers. • His ability to market into the U.S. and Canada and deep understanding of the retail landscape in both countries; to identify opportunities and develop strategies that effectively reach and engage partners and customers. • In the 80’s he helped establish Markets by Design that brought 4 Canadian manufactures together to market their fixtures into the US; Hubert (a major US smallware’s company) added the idea to their customers in the US and Canada; then in the late 80s for several years Pete helped expand Hubert’s Canadian operation significantly. His mission today is to help retail customers consider alternative sourcing solutions that deal with meeting todays changing supply chain conditions.
