Whether reconciling ticket sellers & event sales, providing onsite sales & event management for the South Florida Fair, managing 4 restaurants with a focus on implementing efficient standardized procedures, bartending at several locations throughout the years, I consistently research, collaborate, and communicate with a passion of providing and building the best customer and employee relationships achieving high retention in both repeat customers and employee loyalty.Upon completing my Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management at The Ohio State University, I took a position with the South Florida Fair & Expo as a Box Office Manager in charge of ticket sales for some of the largest events in South Florida. Within 2 years I quickly learned I had a talent for fast paced problem solving and building promoter relationships. With an opening becoming available I moved departments into the Event Sales position continuing my relationships already built with promoters. My passion for adapting and solving on the go issues during high stress events with a continued focus on professional relationships and customer satisfaction only continued to grow.Upon re-locating to Columbus, Ohio for my partners career change I was asked to start managing a local family owned restaurant chain with 3 locations. Within 2 years I managed all 3 locations overseeing 75+ employees. During my time I implemented a new POS system maximizing efficiency in payroll, inventory, and sales forecasting saving countless hours and putting general managers in a position to focus more on customer service and day to day operations. This in turn gave me the ability to focus on vendor relationships and build a thriving catering business with corporate partners.In 2019, after successfully navigating all the issues that arose during the pandemic I decided I needed a change. After taking some time off and traveling I began bartending part-time to help a friend's business and started with the Wizard of Za bringing my expertise in the hospitality industry to a new specialized concept.I've been extremely lucky in my career positions adapting to new situations and thriving wherever I've been. With a quick learning curve and the ability to build lasting relationships, I am eager for a new challenge. I am confident my experience and ability to adapt and succeed when unique challenges arise will meet the needs of your business.
