I strive for success in what I do, whether that be my personal hobbies, my classes at Texas A&M, or helping to make the world a better place. This can be seen in my time here at Texas A&M. In addition to maintaining a 4.0 GPA, I am actively involved with several organizations on campus, including Cru and Texas Aggie Game Developers (TAGD).In TAGD, I worked on a team of 4 to design a video game from scratch in Unity over the course of a semester for the fall 2021 game jam. We received the award for best in programming for our game. And more recently, I worked with the same team in the 2022 Chillenium game jam, where we created another game from scratch in less than 48 hours.I believe in respecting and being honest to others, even if they disagree with you. I also believe in helping others, even if they will not do anything in return for you. For example, I volunteered at my local church in high school to show the lyrics to songs and PowerPoint presentations for the sermons during some of the Sunday services. Also, in the summer of 2021, I had an unpaid internship with the non-profit Write Way Prison Ministries. Write Way mails Bible courses to prisoners in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and New Mexico, and I helped with various tasks from sorting envelopes to be sent out to stamping books to uploading grades to a database.
