I am currently the product owner of Discngine 3decision and working in a dedicated, highly talented and focused team. Next to my duties on 3decision I am also active on R&D activity within the company in general, seeding new collaborations and pre-competitive product developments. During my past consultancy duties I was heavily involved in methods development, project support (virtual screening, homology modeling, peptide conformational analysis) and HPC computing in the field of molecular modeling. My past and present duties imply important autonomy, strong technical skills, good knowledge of early drug discovery processes as well as project management expertise.I am furthermore a shareholder of Discngine itself promoting the unique management architecture together with my colleagues.

I spent my Post Doc as molecular modeling support for drug discovery projects within Servier. During this work I made extensive use of virtual screening techniques, homology modeling, molecular dynamics and free energy calculation methods.

Qualification : Excelente cum laudeDuring my PhD I have been involved in structure based drug design methods development projects (and their application). A focus of my research was set on binding site prediction and characterization. Using the open source program fpocket, a pocket database of the whole PDB was constructed and is currently used to profile new targets, validate new protein target families, mainly via a published druggability prediction method implemented into fpocket. Lately I am working on two major projects, (i) the development of a pocket comparison method and its usage as idea generator for drug design purposes and (ii) the development and validation of a new type of docking scoring function.Next to theoretical research I also gave several practicals in general chemistry and physical chemistry at the University of Barcelona.

I worked within the Drug Design Group at Vitry sur Seine on validation of protein cavity detection algorithms. These algorithms were used for cavity database creation.A part from analytical skills programming skills in Python, SVL and database management were needed.
