I studied Physics and Computer Science and started my professional carreer at IBM as a Process Engineer and IT-Project Manager. After 2 years I moved to the Daimler-Benz AG and started there in the IT Research & Technology Department. I left Daimler-Chrysler in 1999 for a two years engagement as a Development Director at LHS AG. In 2001 I was appointed Chief Technology Officer of DCTSS GmbH and was responsible for all customer projects, applied methods and technologies. In 2006 I was appointed Chief Information Officer for DaimlerChrysler UK, located in Milton Keynes. In that role I was in charge of the IT operation of DaimlerChrysler in UK which included the Wholesale Organisation, Own Retail Organization, Fleet Management, Charterway and Financial Services. In June 2008 I became Global CTO for the IT Organization of Daimler. My responsibilities were Technology Standards, IT Shared Services, Enterprise Architecture Methods, Processes and Tools and the Innovation Process. In November 2012 I became Executive Board Member of top-itservices AG. As Chief Process Officer (CPO) I was reponsible for IT- Infrastructure/Servicedesk and Application Development, HR, Legal and Contract Management, Finance und Controlling, Facility Management, Training/Coaching, Qualitymanagement and Security. In October 2015 I became group CIO of the ABLE group and managing Director of the ABLE Management Services ltd (AMS ltd.). Major achievements were the stabilization of the Application Development and the replacement of a business critical Application landscape by a state-of-the art solution on a Salesforce Platform. Further more the development of a digitilization strategy for AMS. I left AMS in October 2018 to join Allgeier Experts SE as Senior Business IT Director in charge of improving IT Application Landscape and implementing a digital strategy. In January 2019 I took over additional responsibility as Executive Director of Allgeier Experts Go GmbH and CIO for Allgeier Expert SE. Since November 2019 I am an independent IT-Consultant engaged in interim CxO roles and in particular passionately bringing IT-Startup ideas to life.
