Founded Fairport Products, a precision machine shop specialized in manufacturing custom parts and assemblies, in 1992, and later purchased Auburn Ball Bearing, a bearing manufacturer specializing in thrust bearings (ball and roller) and other bearing components, from M. D. Knowlton Company in 2006. I am currently the owner of both companies, which, in 2013, began operating under one name: Auburn Bearing & Manufacturing.Today, Auburn Bearing & Manufacturing operates as a niche player in the bearing industry, specializing in the manufacture of standard, custom, obsolete, and hard-to-find thrust bearings. ABM also offers custom machining services.
