Senior Business Analyst
Responsible for delivering significant digital transformation/business change initiatives including the creation of a site security operating model for police - the creation, endorsement and deployment of the collateral and processes required for police to have a national policy with standards and procedures to enable to the secure provisioning and lifecycle management of applications that protect police sites.The delivery of the resulting ‘National Access and Site Security Framework and Upgrade Capability’ enabled the following key objectives to be met:- Formation of the technical infrastructure for a ‘National Electronic Access Control System’ (NEACS) capability including a test and DR environment.- Establishment of a standardised framework to allow new police sites to be provisioned, or existing site to be migrated onto the NEACS in accordance with the recently defined national policies and standards (the framework).- The creation of uniform processes for the provision of all types of users onto the NEACS.Additional activities:- Conducted workshops with key stakeholders including national executives, senior constabulary staff of the 25+ districts/entities and strategic head office entities to produce a global matrix of requirements/functional needs, while creating a rapport to gain their trust and support for the approach and project objectives.-Fostered relationships with key vendors and undertook vendor relationship management activities including acting as the primary contact for issue management and resolution. -Produced business process flow diagrams, entity relationship diagrams and other artefacts for ‘as-is’ to ‘to-be’ state to validate approach.- Created all artefacts required for the execution of the operating model and authored the subsequent component documents, including the required approach to ongoing data governance and capability lifecycle management.
