Peter has 40 years’ experience in civil engineering, principally in planning, design and management of water supply and sewerage systems within Australia and Overseas. Peter has significant experience in water resource investigation, design and design reviews, construction and supervision, contract administration and project commissioning of all aspects of water supply and waste water systems. Areas of expertise also include strategic/business management, asset maintenance planning, leading multi-disciplinary design teams, feasibility studies of new investment options in the water sector, sewerage planning investigations, feasibility studies and master plan investigations for both water and waste water. Technically, he has extensive experience in computer modelling of water and wastewater systems, significant computer skills both in operation and understanding hardware and software issues, contract administration, tender preparation, operation and commissioning of systems.Peter also has experience in the management and operation of Statutory Water Authorities, where corporate and business planning was essential together with investment planning, cost-recovery, target setting and the management of assets by target. In recent years, he has developed management experience in international multi-disciplinary projects, where water supply asset rehabilitation and extensions of treatment and distribution systems have become increasingly important.Peter is the Director of W3 Plus Consulting Pty Ltd, a company he founded in early 2002 with a current full-time staff of seven people. He is specifically responsible for client liaison, market intelligence, strategic planning, international best practice assessment, quality assurance, project delivery, contract administration, personnel management and budgeting. Peter also has extensive experience in Surge Analysis and has recently been added to the Editorial Board of the Journal of Applied Fluid Transients.
