It all started with an Elvis ‘Blue Christmas’ Record, and performing on my living rooms couch. When the needle hit the vinyl, a long lasting love of music was built, and it became the backbone of my life. From that moment came 10+ years of working as an independent singer/songwriter and recording artist, and a Humber Music Business Post-Grad Certificate. I am currently working as an Adapted and Inclusive Recreation Program Director at the City of Toronto, and have been working with individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities for over 10 years. Before attaining a Humber Music Business Post-Grad Certificate, I also graduated from York University with a Political Science Degree. My goal and passion is to blend my love for music with accessibility, and assist in creating an accessible and inclusive environment for all in the music/entertainment industry, and make the industry a better place for all. I have a strong interest in working in the public sector (music specific), building on my work with the City of Toronto at Adapted and Inclusive Recreation, and in Accessibility with former advocate for people with Special Needs Lorene Bodiam. I also have a strong desire, and open to applying my knowledge from the Humber Music Business program, to pursue an internship/job opportunity in marketing. Humber Music Business paved the way to understanding the industry, and it strengthened my desire, and knowledge to pursue a career in music business. I am driven, and eager to connect, network, learn, and contribute to a team environment, and build a long lasting career in the music industry.
