I have dedicated over two decades to the education sector, with ten years in higher education and over ten years in K-12 international schools. My passion for schools and universities has continually motivated and driven me throughout my career.My leadership roles have been diverse, including positions such as Assistant Director, Director, Associate Head, and Head of School. I have worked with students ranging from five to fifty years old, and had the privilege of collaborating with diverse teams in four different countries under varying challenges and circumstances.For over a decade, I have been focused on establishing or nurturing emerging international schools in Asia. Highlights of my experience include three years in Taiwan, one year in Kazakhstan, two years in South Korea, and five years in China. Two of these schools offered IB PYP and IBDP programs, catering to K-12 students from expatriate families worldwide.Before my work in Asia, I served as the Assistant Director of Admissions at Teachers College, Columbia University, the largest and most comprehensive graduate school of education in the U.S., if not the world. In this role, I worked closely with both domestic and international students.I hold a PhD from Nazarbayev University, Graduate School of Education (NUGSE), in conjunction with the University of Pennsylvania, Graduate School of Education (GSE). My research interests include globalization, the internationalization of education, policy mobility, and student mobility.
