About Peter Simon
In 2017 I became a managing partner at what is now Simon Quick Advisors. I have known Leslie Quick and Joseph Belfatto for 20 years both personally and professionally. Through my involvement on an investment committee for an endowment, managed by Simon Quick Advisors, I got to know the firm and its capabilities well. After a conversation about succession planning for my own Family Office (William E. Simon & Sons), the idea to combine the two firms was hatched; and within a year we were merged.Years earlier, in 1988, I co-founded William E. Simon & Sons (WESS) along with my father, former Treasury Secretary William E. Simon, and my brother, William E. Simon, Jr. WESS was a family office entrusted with preserving the financial health and legacy of my siblings and the next generation of our family.
