Fasttrek is an independent diversified multidisciplinary engineering company, specialized in Construction and Fabrication technology and Quality engineering/inspections, focused on the Oil and Gas -, Petrochemical - and Renewable / Energy industry covering technical expertise on materials, welding, NDT and coating systems for pipelines, piping systems, pressure equipment, structural steel and E&I. Specific experience is gained on procurement processes covering the entire supply chain.As Operational Director of the Company, I’m responsible for the day-to-day running of the business, acquisition and making sure that the business continues grow by the way of acquire new clients, whilst maintaining the existing ones.Our team is very familiar with international codes, rules and regulations. Also the leading operator specifications have been spelled out. In several cases we have contributed to today’s wording within these documents.As a logical spin-off of our engineering capabilities we supply construction support in the field, focused on QC management, field engineering, inspections and trouble shooting.The majority of our employees have an academic back ground, but even more impressive is that we have more than 20 years of relevant experience in our expertise’s.In the past, all of our team members have contributed to, many oil and gas field development projects, from start to end, both onshore and offshore The Company has worldwide associations with well-known Oil Companies, manufacturers, mills, construction yards and suppliers. Various major project executed for Total E&P Ned BV, ExxonMobil, BP Norway, Heerema Marine Contractors, van Oord, Wintershall, Chevron, Jan de Nul etc.

In the late 90’s, I joined as a member of the management team, the company Smart Engineering B.V., a Technical Engineering and Consultancy company working for the Oil and Gas-, Petrochemical- and Energy industry.Business wise responsible for, implementation of the QMS 9001, the Information technology platform of the company, Public Relations and Marketing.Next to my MT activities, I was involved as a QA/QC / discipline engineer in various on-and offshore project responsible for the management / co-ordination of installation and modification of process piping systems, pipelines, vessels, tanks and steel structures, reporting and controlling of planning / progress and expediting, QA/QC on construction activities, Auditing, procedures / specifications review and control, material certification control, mechanical completion and CA / NOBO co-ordination, such as Lloyds Register , DNV and Bureau Veritas. Various project executed for Wintershall, Allseas, Total, Heerema Marine Contractors, Petro Canada, Vopak, NAM, ExxonMobile, ChevronTexaco, Gulf Canada and Stoomwezen/Lloyds.

Main clients have been oil companies and contractors.As a Piping-Mechanical (Field) Engineer involved in various on- and offshore projects for Wintershall Noordzee BV, ExxonMobil, Heerema Marine Contactors, Gulf Canada, ChevronTexaco, Seatec Underwater Systems B.V, Amoco and Conoco.
