Operations involved in include drilling Top Hole through to completion stage and the use of surface trees, running conductor, casing and liner and rigging up/ down for cementing.Everyday duties include tripping in/ out of the hole using automated racking arms, make up and break down oh BHA, running and pulling Riser including installing diverted and the dressing/ undressing of slip joint. Other duties include working in the shaker house, a wide variety of man riding operations and general maintenance of all drill floor equipment including carrying out slip and cut on drill line and working on and operating iron roughneck, manual tongs, RBS and manipulator armFurther to duties on the drill floor I have also assisted the derrickman with general chemical mixing, bulk transfer from rig storage tanks to mixing hoppers and maintenance on pumps ( swabs, liners, seats and valves) and pit valves.I also have some experience of working with the subsea engineer and assisting with BOP Pressure Testing, Choke and Kill Valve maintenance/ replacement and carrying out slip and cut operations on MRT lines.

Duties included the inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair on a wide fleet of vehicles ranging from small cars and vans to roads and amenities lorries and refuse collection vehicles. This included a range of plant vehicles including road rollers, tractors and road maintenance plant.Experience of hydraulic fault finding and repair across different systems and the use of diagnostic computer for electrical and performance fault rectification.As chargehand of the workshop further duties included the planning of work schedules, recording of completed maintenance and distributed spares, the ordering of spare parts and general stock items and invoicing/ charging of work carried out and order numbers to suppliers.
