Project management of fifteen individual cladding removal projects which have applied for Homes England grant funding (value of projects ranging from £1m to circa £25m).Chairing bi-weekly meetings with Applicants and their Project Team to guide them through the Grant Funding Application Process from initial engagement to start-on-site.Using technical knowledge of the requirements for site set up and the grant funding programme to manage applicants, quantity surveyors, project managers, architects, developers, and contractors up to Board level in small to large businesses. Reviewing legal eligibility checks, engaging with external lawyers to complete due diligence and politically exposed persons check.Advise on the best approach to removing blockers on a project (such as issues relating to fees, licensing issues, planning and design issues).Analysing and challenging submitted Project Costs, by reviewing the full works and costs spreadsheets, prior to submission to DLUHC’s funding approval board (FAB).Presenting to FAB, outlining key issues with the projects and mitigating factors for approval.Presenting at escalation meetings with Senior Stakeholders when blockers to applications could not be removed and deciding on the most efficient resolution to the issues presented. Issuing, collecting, and confirming all necessary paperwork to be completed by the applicant.Issuing and completing legal documents, including the Grant Funding Agreement, Collateral Warranties and Duty of Care documents.Ensuring JCT documents incorporate sufficient wording (especially in relation to the new Building Safety Regulator).Forecasting, reporting, and managing outgoing grant payments for applications that receive funding via FAB (greatest amount forecasted and paid in 1-month = ~£10m).Attending Bi-Weekly change clinics to improve processes across the team.Updating training guidance / delivery of training sessions to colleagues.

Provide credit opinion for new credit applications up to the value of £50m. Applications include large Registered Providers (RPs) with turnover of £100m+ under the new affordable housing guarantee scheme (AHGS20), as well as for SPV’s under the private rented sector guarantee scheme (PRSGS), funding buildings at c.65% Loan-to-Value (loan values c.£25m). Completing due diligence (DD) for new applications, inclusive of providing a credit opinion and using delegated approval authority (up to £50m) to sign off on DD papers prior to drawdown.Preparing merger consent and variation of term papers for Borrowers across all schemes (AHGS13, AHGS20, & PRSGS) up to the value of £150m (as above, with delegated authority to sign off requests up to £50m). The largest paper completed related to a complex merger proposal of two Registered Providers, which had a combined debt quantum of £150.1m under the AHGS13. Analysing, reporting on, and presenting MI processed across all three schemes for an overall debt book of £ 404.78bn (for circa 90 Borrowers in total). Completing and signing off annual reviews for Borrowers with exposure up to the value of £150m. Completing monthly internal reporting requirements for Executive Leadership Team and Performance Executive Leadership Team. Challenging 1st Line on processes and interactions with 3rd Party Delivery Partners to ensure high levels of efficiency are adequately maintained. Undertaking Assurance Reviews of Risk Registers for all Guarantees programmes and the Building Safety Fund 18m+. Reporting risk events to senior management. Training Staff on the approach taken within the Guarantees Risk Team.
