CurrentProject management of fifteen individual cladding removal projects which have applied for Homes England grant funding (value of projects ranging from £1m to circa £25m).Chairing bi-weekly meetings with Applicants and their Project Team to guide them through the Grant Funding Application Process from initial engagement to start-on-site.Using technical knowledge of the requirements for site set up and the grant funding programme to manage applicants, quantity surveyors, project managers, architects, developers, and contractors up to Board level in small to large businesses. Reviewing legal eligibility checks, engaging with external lawyers to complete due diligence and politically exposed persons check.Advise on the best approach to removing blockers on a project (such as issues relating to fees, licensing issues, planning and design issues).Analysing and challenging submitted Project Costs, by reviewing the full works and costs spreadsheets, prior to submission to DLUHC’s funding approval board (FAB).Presenting to FAB, outlining key issues with the projects and mitigating factors for approval.Presenting at escalation meetings with Senior Stakeholders when blockers to applications could not be removed and deciding on the most efficient resolution to the issues presented. Issuing, collecting, and confirming all necessary paperwork to be completed by the applicant.Issuing and completing legal documents, including the Grant Funding Agreement, Collateral Warranties and Duty of Care documents.Ensuring JCT documents incorporate sufficient wording (especially in relation to the new Building Safety Regulator).Forecasting, reporting, and managing outgoing grant payments for applications that receive funding via FAB (greatest amount forecasted and paid in 1-month = ~£10m).Attending Bi-Weekly change clinics to improve processes across the team.Updating training guidance / delivery of training sessions to colleagues.
