I am a registered architect with 25 years' experience delivering commercial projects across a range of sectors. In recent years my role has been in building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and consultants, and managing project delivery from concept to completion. I enjoy the challenge of marrying the various stakeholder objectives and requirements with the overarching aspiration for a robust outcome that enhances and contributes positively to both the users and the built environment.My experience includes healthcare, museums, hotels, apartments, industrial and community facilities from feasibility/concept through to construction observation in New Zealand and throughout the Pacific. I have successfully led and delivered numerous projects for a variety of client organisations including developers, private clients, charities, trust boards, design/build contractors and local and national government organisations. These projects have provided me with extensive experience in briefing and design development, master planning, client group liaison, documentation, and coordination of the technical consultant inputs. My governance experience is at both project and a practice/business level. As a Project Director, I am a member of the Project Steering Group providing direction and resolving issues. Outside of architecture my governance roles have included sporting organisations at both community/club and national levels and am currently a director for a large privately owned farming enterprise.
