At DocPoint Solutions I have been developing, installing, and administering complex Microsoft SharePoint deployments. Some of the major things I have been working on have been developing and integrating content management solutions, content migration, advanced workflows, automation utilizing Powershell, custom search configurations, business intelligence, disaster recovery solutions, and much more. I have also been doing some generalized IT consulting. Everything from the physical hardware and network, to virtualizing environments, deploying Exchange, CRM, SharePoint, implementing disaster recovery plans, etc.

 Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot various applications, and servers. o Research, plan, design, test, and integrate new servers and applications to accommodate current, new, and emerging business needs.o Manage and Maintain SQL 2008, Exchange 2010, Sharepoint 2010, CRM, Kofax Application, NAS Storage, and company Web Servers.  Maintain the network infrastructure.o Control Cisco 5500 series ASA firewall policies, including port security, NAT configuration for external IP addresses, and DMZ configuration. Also support the current architecture by managing backbone switches, as well as the Avaya IP office VOIP phone system.o Maintain Active Directory Domain including, organizational units, user accounts, security and distribution groups, server and workstation group policies, and computer accounts. Disaster Recovery.o Design and implemented current backup rotation, as well as backup mediums.o Use CommVault backup suite in conjunction with Quantum tape libraries to ensure all business critical data is secure and recoverable.o Use Prostore Infinivault for long term storage and archive data to ensure backup efficiency. Provide consulting services.o Interact with stakeholders at all organizational levels (in-house and client) to gather requirements, research, design, implement, and modify IT solutions to meet business needs.

Assist the integration team by visiting client sites, designing and integrating content management solutions in to their environment, setting up any other requested hardware or software, and training clients in the use of Kofax productsCommunicates with customer groups impacted by the project. This includes: end users, system administrators, and client departments.
