Responsible for activities and services related to the successful recruitment, selection, enrollment, transition, and retention of prospective international undergraduate students to Pitt. Position included international travel, student recruitment, forming and maintaining counselor relationships at schools, and presenting to crowds upwards of 400 people.

Responsible for instructing and preparing students who intend to pursue higher education abroad. Classes taught include Postgraduate Presentation Skills, Undergraduate Reading and Writing, Undergraduate Listening and Speaking, and Undergraduate Western Literature. Also responsible for new student recruitment at neighboring high schools.

The Mandela Washington Fellowship is a prestigious program implemented by President Obama that provides future African leaders with opportunities to learn about civic leadership in the USA. Responsible for designing, organizing, and carrying out workshops and activities related to civic leadership for the Fellows. Activities organized include a naturalization ceremony at Monticello, Virginia, a luncheon at the White House, and a Town Hall with President Barack Obama.

Served full-time as an ESL Teacher in Roanoke City Public Schools. Taught grades 1-4 as well as 9th and 10 grade History, Literature, and Writing. Also responsible for assisting new immigrant students with acclimating to life in the United States.

As a teacher hired directly by the Korean Department of Education, was responsible for teaching English in an inner city, public, middle school. Taught 540 students each week with varying levels of English knowledge. Subjects included listening, speaking, conversational English, and debate. Taught a weekly adult English class after school hours for the faculty and staff.

Responsible for teaching multiple subjects in English to Korean kindergarten and elementary students. Subjects included reading, writing, listening, library, conversation, science, math, art, theater, music, and cooking. Worked heavily with designing curriculum. Responsible for childcare as well as daily operations of the school.
