Currently, I am employed part-time on a short term contract in a private school in Melbourne's South Eastern Region. I am looking to find CRT work or another part-time position as my current contract has come to an end.Have taught in various international schools - Papua New Guinea, Bahrain, Germany, Oman, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, China and India. In addition, I was fortunate to work at Geelong Grammar - a school lives up to what it claims: ' exceptional', and as well, with Wesley College, Melbourne, one of our finest private schools.An extensive “independent” world traveler and explorer since 1979, and have included many of the world’s countries and territories. Immense changes are evident.Have been an IB Certified Workshop Leader having led IBDP English workshops in Sweden, Spain, Netherlands, Greece,Egypt and Turkey. As well, led Education Bureau sponsored workshops in Nanjing, China.Previously, an IBDP English Examiner / Team Leader, Assessment Moderator, Mentor, Deputy Chief Examiner, Paper Setter and for 14 years worked as part of the “Grade Award” English Examination Team that met bi-annually in Cardiff, Wales. Has taught English at High School and Middle School and MYP. Has taught IBDP, IGCSE, VCE/EAL English and Literature, AP Geography and Literature, English as a Second Language, Journalism, Media, Australian History, Aboriginal History, European History, Creative Writing and Business English.In recent years supervised co-curricular activities that have included; A Japanese Cultural Tour, Model United Nations, teaching English in rural China, teaching Tai Chi (Wu style), Inter-School Interrogative Debating, Amnesty International, Creative Writing and Expression, MS Publication, golf, and tennis.Certified teacher in Australia, (VIT), Bahrain, Germany, Hong Kong and China.
