I. Establish relationships with the children to assess their needs and monitor their progressII. Maximize GMAD's outreach by establishing good working relationships with relevant agencies to find and admit children that are genuinely vulnerable III. When a child is admitted, create a proper file for that child. Including all the legal required documents (e.g., DSW report, police report, court order) and other available records (e.g., photographs, birth certificate, health documents, etc.) IV. Provide psycho-social supports to children in the shelterV. Case managementVI. Art therapyVII. Screening children for PTSD and carrying out interventionsVIII. Counselling using TFCBT and NETIX. Maximize the opportunity to place children in families by developing a care plan for each child and by compiling and regularly updating files for all GMAD children (e.g., photographs, genogram, social inquiry report, birth certificate, health records, school records, clinical notes, etc.) X. Tracing family members of children and empowering caregivers to better care for their children when reintegrated or reunited XI. Establish good working relationships with relevant agencies to place children with families via reunification, foster care or adoptionXII. After a child is reunited, visit the child both in school and at home and the family to monitor and supervise successXIII. Work with GMAD management, nannies, and school teachers to develop individualized educational and vocational plans for children as they transition into junior and senior high school XIV. Provide training and establish procedures and processes to prevent any type of child abuse at GMAD homeXV. Submit written progress report to GMAD boards (USA and Ghana)
