• Assisted on a company wide 1500 user Laptop upgrade.• Upgraded users from Windows XP to Windows 7.• Backed up and restored user data.• Resolved any software or hardware issues that the users may have had.

• Managed the Desktop Services department, supporting 240+ Netware 6/6.5 servers (HP & IBM), 30+ Windows 2000/2003 servers, 1700+ HP/IBM desktop pc’s, 175+ HP/IBM Laptops, 250 APC UPS’, 2 Cisco 6509’s, and 200+ Cisco 2950 switches.• Successful conversion of 30 Interchange Bank locations in Jan. 07, my team converted the new branches to Netware 6.5 based servers running ZENworks 7, Windows XP based desktops in a locked down environment, and Cisco switches.• Developed an automated process for Daylight Savings Time updates (DSTSHIFT & java patch) for TD Banknorth’s entire Netware based network (200+ Netware 6.0 and 600+ Netware 6.5 servers).

Marine technician; performed general boat maintenance, engine & outdrive repairs, engine & outdrive installations, and trailer repairs. Also, maintained all computers, printers, and electronic equipment.

Responsibilities consisted of, but were not limited to the following: Provide Level 3 LAN/WAN support for a 2500+ user environment that contained 250+ Netware 6 and 50+ Windows NT/2000/2003 servers. • Maintained the bank’s email system which included 4 Exchange 5.5 servers and 4 NetIQ MailMarshal servers. • Developed and maintained centralized tape backup solution for the data center utilizing an HP tape library and Veritas Backup Exec.• Maintained the McAfee AVD Suite; the programs utilized included the EPolicy Orchestrator, VirusScan, NetShield, and GroupShield. • Configured & updated the companies Cisco switches (2924, 2950, and 6509). • Configured, secured, & updated all Windows based servers.• In June 2004, my team converted 250+ Netware 4.12 servers to Netware 6.0 and also deployed & maintained a ZENworks 4 environment.• Member of the disaster recovery/business continuity team.

Supplied turnkey networks and video systems for dental offices, all servers, workstations, software, and wiring was installed by CAD’s technicians. We performed data migrations from Novell Netware 3.x, 4.x, and Windows 3.51 to Windows NT 4 based servers. Practice management software, digital x-ray systems, intra oral cameras, and voice activated charting was installed onto the dental offices systems.

Assisted in the setup & installation of servers, workstations, printers, and CAT 5 wiring for Windows NT4 based networks.
