As a member of the engineering projects team I was responsible for the delivery of a number of capital projects in accordance with TasAlk policies and procedures• Upgrade of chemical dosing systems in the wastewater treatment plant to improve reliability, reduce chemical costs and reduce water consumption• Automation of the aeration system for the sequencing batch reactors in the wastewater treatment plant to improve overall reliability and efficiency• Improvements to safety systems within the main extraction plant• Upgrades to ageing equipment and instrumentation used in crop reception and the extraction plant• Process design, equipment specification, control system specification• Project management including scheduling, budget management, stakeholder engagement, supplier and contractor engagement• Commissioning, operator training, project documentation

As part of the core engineering team, my experience has developed skills in all aspects of project delivery. My duties at Aqueous include preparation of tender submissions and technical proposals; technical design of treatment plants including process design, control systems and instrumentation and mechanical specification; project management and budget management; drafting of technical drawings (AutoCAD and SolidWorks); and plant testing and commissioning.
