I am particularly interested in applying emerging management frameworks and information management methods to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, quality, resilience, and sustainability of internal operations and client services.For more than 20 years I have had the good fortune to have brought distinct value to a diverse array of government agencies, leading corporations, law and professional services firms, and non-profits. I continue to be energized by new opportunities to positively influence the management practices of organizations both large and small.Prior to founding my own successful consulting business, I served in executive and director positions in two publicly traded professional services companies. Throughout my career, I have achieved consistent success in forming and managing teams of 2 – 20+ professionals and performing cutting-edge research and analysis; developing novel methods, procedures, and tools; and producing actionable findings, strategies, and recommendations. Innovative work products, advice, and publications prepared by me or under my direction have positively influenced the thinking, strategies, behaviors, and performance of organizations in many industries and sectors of the U.S. economy. I have supplemented the knowledge and insights gained through years of management consulting by investing in developing and applying new skills. I hold (or have recently held) professional certifications in project management (PMP), IT (CompTIA Network+, Security+), Agile methods (ICAgile, Certified Scrum Master), and Data Science.I am a sought-after public speaker and author who has published two critically-acclaimed books on organizational sustainability, and scores of published book chapters, peer-reviewed articles, original research studies, training/guidance documents, formal reports to the U.S. Congress, magazine articles, and other written works.Although I have had the opportunity to work with a very diverse set of organizations and on many different issues, I have had a life-long interest in the natural environment, human health and well-being, and the evolving concept of sustainability.
