Current responsibilities include management of all software development projects and programmers, as well as research and design of new products to complement our line. I am currently managing a team of fourteen software engineers spanning two corporate locations.The product line is a suite of applications for enhancing name, address, phone, and email marketing databases in what I would describe as an “Information Service Provider” environment. We have also developed ETL (extract, transform, load), data analysis, and campaign management tools for the direct marketing industry.We have developed these services into a 24/7 automated batch data e-commerce environment, as well as a Web Services based transactional version of the same services. I led the design and development of the automation and self monitoring of these systems. I also am a primary member of the company's Information Security Team and have played a key role in establishing and implementing comprehensive information security policies and procedures. We are currently preparing for an SSAE-16 Security Audit.Working at Anchor I have become an expert in direct marketing, including postal marketing, telemarketing, email marketing. Some of the related subcategories include name and address matching, merge/purge, database maintenance, data modeling, and numerous postal processes and services including addressing standards, ZIP+4 matching, NCOA, DSF, LACS, etc.Prior to spearheading the PC Development department in 1993, I developed and maintained large, high performance software systems in an IBM 370 mainframe assembly language environment. I also developed and maintained an accounting system for the company using dBASE IV.
