• I have responsibility for managing the risk management function within Westpac’s Property Finance businesses. This encompasses:
• The provision of in-house research into the various domestic real estate market sectors and creation of the Group’s “House View” on each of those market sectors,
• Monitoring and measuring the Group’s property finance exposure levels to all real estate asset classes and geographies. I provide presentations on the exposure levels and recommendations on whether they are considered.
• Management of national team of Property Risk Managers and Construction Risk Managers that service the business. I also manage the Westpac Property Markets Research staff/function,
• Monitoring/managing analytical output provided by all staff from a QA perspective,
• Provision of “Occasional Papers” in respect of relevant key property market issues, and
