I’m an energetic technology enthusiast who started off my career as a Computer Engineer, enhanced the business side of my CV with a MBA and has been a key stakeholder in some of Toronto's largest technology success stories. I am most comfortable and passionate about building and deploying technology solutions with innovative and enthusiastic people. To this day I still avidly enjoy researching and prototyping new technologies; from mobile technologies to machine learning to cloud services. I’m a voracious reader of technology magazines and blogs, but understand that the only way to truly learn about any new technology is to get your “hands dirty”; which is why I have too many home and cloud servers running in various software loads and configurations. I find that you can only truly understand adapting a new technology to a business opportunity from understanding the facets and benefits behind it. In my career I’ve lead distributed development teams, integration teams, sales teams, support teams, technical consulting teams and entire business divisions. From those experiences I’ve learned that you have to wear a lot of different hats in an organization to be a truly effective team member – something I’m very adept and proud of.I’m truly passionate about my work and I’m always eager to connect with other technology enthusiasts. Core Strengths:Strategic Planning / Business Re-engineering / Enterprise System Planning / Organization Planning / Mentoring & Instruction / Client & Vendor Relations / Cloud Infrastructure Architecture / Business Process Automation / Mergers & Acquisitions / Team Development / Project Management / Compliance & Risk / Problem and Change Management / Infrastructure as a Service / Capex and Opex management
