Chief Of Ambulatory Services/Medical Imaging Manager
As the Chief of Ambulatory Services, I oversee all ancillary department operations and personal. These include Cardiopulmonary, Laboratory, and Rehabilitation Services. In addition to that role, I also directly manage the Medical Imaging department focusing on operations, finance, asset resources, communication and management of personnel while still maintaining my imaging skills. Working as the Chief of Ambulatory Services I am a member of the Senior Leadership Team participating in many strategic initiatives, organizational enhancement, policy and administrative decisions as well as functioning as the Hospital Administrator on Call. I also work in implementing short- and long-term goals, creating successful new services lines, community and provider out reaches and marketing, all with the goal of providing high quality patient care and positive patient encounters focused on the hospital mission where “patients always come first”.Recent Accomplishments:- Successfully outsourced Hospital Rehabilitation/Physical Therapy Department.- Created an Interventional Radiology program and recruited four Interventionalists.- Created a successful remote Physical Therapy Department- Successfully contracted an in-house Radiologist for breast imaging and interventional breast procedures.- Recruited Cardiologist as Medical Director for Cardiopulmonary Department.- Grew hospital Ancillary volume by 23% in 2019.- Expanded Outpatient Imaging Services through Lung Cancer Screening programs.- Partnered with local foundation to provide no cost provider and surgeon visits, mammography, biopsies and post procedure care.- Successfully participated in the building and implementation of two recent hospital and clinic EHR conversions.
