Responsible for the overall estate, facilities, and commercial management of Southeastern Trains across 163 stations, 8 depots and 4 commercial buildings. Achieved by leading and developing the estates and facilities team ensuring they are motivated, confident, assured, have a clear sense of purpose, and are enthused in undertaking their role in a safe compliant manner.Key Responsibilities:• Delivery of spending review settlement• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM), re-active maintenance and compliance with statutory legislation • Project development, specification, procurement, delivery, handover• Health and Safety re passengers and workforce in and around building premises• Service contracts i.e., station cleaning, vegetation, graffiti, customer information systems, CCTV, access security systems, waste, effluent discharge• Utilities management and energy procurement• 40-year Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) and ISO 55001 accreditation by 31st March 2023• Compliance with Service Quality Regime (SQR) as mandated by the Department for Transport (DfT)• Revenue income from circa 200 retail property lettings, station advertising, and car parks • Stakeholder liaison and managementKey Achievements:• Successful delivery of £160m of industry and third party funded projects over past decade ranging from station new builds, delivery of 800 new car parking spaces, major station refurbishments, Solar panel arrays on depot shed roofs, building access systems, to toilet and minor improvement works. • Moving the facilities software management and fault reporting function back to an in-house managed operation with resultant savings and efficiencies £1.5m pa. Supported by compilation of asset register of all station fixtures and fittings• Delivered £6.9m revenue income growth from 2015-19 (pre pandemic)
