Peter Stephenson has over 30 years experience in senior management, leadership and executive roles in the tertiary education, government, international development and the not for profit sector. He is an experienced consultant, evaluator, researcher and manager of education, training and research services. With qualifications in environmental health, environmental management and adult education, Peter's professional practice and management experience has been in the context of urban industrial areas of Sydney, remote Aboriginal communities nationally, and in developing countries in the Asia-Pacific Region. In his early career Peter was a volunteer with the United Nations in Fiji and later a UN consultant in Cambodia.He has experience in NFP Board roles and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Australian Evaluation Society. Peter is currently the Timor-Leste Country Director for the Australia Pacific Training Coalition.
