He has supervised the marketing, sales, development, manufacture and implementation of numerous electronics technology projects including systems for use in HR, customer loyalty, eGovernment. major self service retail and industrial applications.Peter has been directly responsible for a number of significant projects including systems for clients in Australia, Asia and other neighbouring export markets.With his depth of technical knowledge in relation to Information Technology projects and electronics manufacturing technologies as well as his sound business understanding, Peter is a major contributor to the strategic direction of his organisations and their clients.He has had experience with turning around poor performing production operations, lacking in technical direction, into strong manufacturing entinties capable of producing sophisticated, electronic products. He was responsible for the development and implementation of the first EFTPOS connected magnetic card based petrol vending system in Australia.Peter was heavily involved in the pioneering h/w and s/w development of an Australian engineered, UNIX based mini computer and subsequently managed the incorporation of this technology into sizeable automated systems for the safe and accurate control of petrol tanker filling operations.He has a strong interest in the promotion of business within Victoria and the encouragement of the growth of local businesses both within and beyond Australia.
