• Manage Costs, Revenue, Risk Weighted Assets and Return on Equity including, monthly performance, forecast and budget for the Equities and Investment Banking Divisions, a combined, £1.0 billion, 5,000 headcount divisions based in the Americas, Europe, and Asia• Responsible for monthly Senior Management financial review and presentations for the divisions that I support, the audience includes the CFO and the respective business heads. These meetings are critical for making key business decisions around cost cutting and investment• Responsible for various profitability scenario analysis in helping the business decide which businesses and regions to invest or depart• Annual strategic long-term fiscal target setting used as benchmarks for estimating profitability in future years• Global analytics and executive commentary of performance – month over month, spend vs. budget and forecast, forecast vs. budget, current year vs. prior year for costs and revenue• Analyze and quantify multiple drivers behind variances, anomalies, and volatilities such as regional FX impact, accrual releases, business reasons to change in plans• Report and track progression/regression of primarily headcount-driven efficiency initiatives • Responsible for global coordination of annual budget at the business, regional and country level• Develop, update, and implement cost-per-head rate card, applied against all comp and non-comp driven exercises, to assist business in calculating business savings on headcount reductions• Developed specifications for development of in-house forecast process
