Twenty years of professional experience working on development assistance, humanitarian affairs and stabilisation with the United Nations, Governments and private firms. Significant experience as a Team Lead/Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Adviser with independent monitoring platforms. This includes providing policy advice; leading the design of projects, results frameworks and evidence based business cases; third-party monitoring; facilitating lessons learned; undertaking programme evaluations and reviews; political economy analysis; building theories of change and strengthening MEL systems. I am a member of various experts rosters with the UN agencies, INGOs and MFAT (MERL List). Recognised as a Deployable Civilian Expert by the Stabilisation Unit of the Government of the United Kingdom. Thematic expertise in conflict and fragile states, governance, security and justice, stabilisation, risk management, third-party monitoring and M&E. Practical experience in South Asia, East Asia, the Pacific, North/West Africa, and the Middle East, including working on Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Syria, Fiji, Vanuatu, Palau, Iraq, Libya, Lebanon, & Yemen.
