As an architect and musician over the past 30 plus years, our studio continuously explores and experiments with the connections between art, architecture, and music. Having designed projects across multiple typologies, painted large scale abstract paintings that are displayed in many of our studios projects, as well as written and produced over 80 songs, my path continues on always digging and unearthing how the spatial experience can further be heightened and felt.Music moves the soul in ways like no other art form. It is at once a mathematical formula that stimulates the brain based on patterns and numbers that correlate to tones as well an an abstract emotional rollercoaster that links uniquely to a person based on life experiences, relationships, dreams, goals, space, time, etc…. Thoughtful architecture elevates the spirit, promotes contemplation, and pulls one in to its core ideology. Abstract painting is about color, light, texture and overall composition that connects with the human psyche in other unique personal ways.
