He will preside through April 2017.“I’m honored to follow in the footsteps of great ACEC leadership and look forward to continuing to support and advocate for engineering companies across the country,” Strub said. Strub has been involved with ACEC at various levels, including National Director and ACEC South Carolina PAC Champion since 1992. His involvement at the national level extends over the past 12 years and includes positions such as Executive Committee Vice Chairman, Treasurer, Planning Cabinet Chair and Membership Chairman.Strub has more than 35 years of experience in engineering and design and currently serves as a Principal and Senior Vice President with TranSystems. His areas of expertise include project management, comprehensive location and design studies and the preparation of preliminary and final right-of-way and construction plans for major highway improvement programs. He holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Iowa State University and is a certified professional engineer in nine states throughout the southeast region of the United States.
