A multi-disciplinary role heading up the Sustainability and Safety functions for the MAF Entertainment OpCo. This role is responsible for managing the Sustainability and HSE strategy incorporating: -Sustainability - Lead the "materiality" assessment for the OpCo in line with our "Dare Today, Change Tomorrow" strategy vision. Set annual action plans with deliverable targets, KPI's and project outcomes across 3 key pillars:-(1) Transforming Lives:- Local economic development and partnerships, supply chain (Scope 3) improvement and governance, social impact and "good cause" partnerships and initiatives, and CX facing initiatives.(2) Empowering our People:- Sustainability related "employer of choice" initiatives including D&I, Wellness and Safety (incorporating Occupational Health, Safety and asset fire, life safety standards) and implementation of Human Rights standards within the MAF supply chain.(3) Re-Thinking Resources:- In accordance with Net Zero ambitions and Science Based Target Initiatives (SBTi's) with focus on GHG and Carbon reduction (Scope 1 and 2) through energy management investment, water resource management, circular economy, bio-diversity and animal welfare, and environmental impact assessments. This includes attainment of built asset certification in line with LEED and WELL standards.Statutory Assurance and Governance: - Responsible for the OpCo's Sustainability, ESG and Safety assurance data and reporting in co-ordination with MAF Holding Compliance and Assurance process and 3rd party governance auditing protocols.Board Reporting:- Reporting to both the Main Board and the Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) on Sustainability and Safety related reporting metrics in respect of established KPI's.The scope of the role includes over 100 large premium leisure, entertainment and cinema complexes across 9 countries within the MENA region.
