Sites

Through the years working my way through the sites and picking up the experience of fitting Steam systems, medium pressure systems, lthw, Chilled water, rainwater harvest, domestic hot water systems, cooling systems, drainage cast and plastic and gas. Also maintaining and fault finding furnaces and heating systems in commercial and domestic premises

Ravenscraig

Working in all areas of the Craig, for maintenance of the furnaces and plant, which involved welding support frames for the melting pots, barrier fencing, repairing cooling pipes

Borders Hospital Galashiels

This was a new hospital and was first for seeing a start to finish job of this size, starting with fitting rads, moving to pipe runs in corridors, to the plant room where I worked on the heat exchangers and air handling units, to the boiler house which was a steam system that ran out to the plantrooms where it was transferred to lthw.
