My historical professional experience is in land use planning, transport and infrastructure planning as well as resource project approvals and scheduling. Now I apply these skills to the innovative profession of infrastructure inspections with drone technology. I operate ground based as well as aerial unmanned vehicles.I have obtained my Pilot and Operators Certification from CASA and am able to operate anywhere in Australia.My public and private land development experience extends from multi-million dollar shopping centres, visitor destinations, residential and industrial estates, golf courses and resource and pipeline planning and construction. I have held senior positions in local governments in NSW and Qld, as well as Director level in the Qld State Government. Peter has also been an expert witness to the Planning and Environment Court many times.Professionally I have been the State Vice President and National Vice President of the Planning Institute of Australia; planning faculty board member of Griffith University and the Queensland University of Technology; and the Chair of the Environmental Defenders Office, Qld, a not for profit public environmental legal service.I have travelled extensively and presented conference papers in many state, national and international forums. In 2012 I travelled to China several times and presented a paper at the first World Biodiversity Congress in Xian, China.My community work extends to Director and the Treasurer of the Eumundi & District Historical Association Inc. which operates amongst other things, the famous Original Eumundi Markets in Queensland.I may be contacted at petersyson@timelineimages.com.au
