    I am a financial storyteller. Owning the Job Cost process allows me to provide the where, when, why the costs are what they are. Understanding the costs provides a clear picture of where we are and where we have been so we can forecast the direction we are heading. I work with our Project Managers on our monthly job closes, cost to completes, and job forecasting.     I converted data into actionable information for the internal equipment center, liquid asphalt storage terminals, and the manufacturing division. Major projects I have been the point person on are: Creating operational reports that increased efficient operations of the drilling and blasting business unit and the crushing operations. These reports allowed for daily review by management teams to affect positive change next day. Created financial reports and report packages for the manufacturing division. Recreate the reporting structure for the drilling and blasting unit after several ad-hoc reports showed a negative impact to profitability was being masked by an unintentional cost shift to the equipment center. The new chart of accounts mirrored the business units cost drivers and gave leaders daily information to drive cost efficient operations.
