● Managing the metallography laboratory & the team of laboratory technicians.● Day to day Lab activities include, metallography analysis, tensile testing, hardness Vickers testing.● Chairperson of the Environmental & Energy committee under the companies ISO 14001 & ISO 50001 standards.● Supervisor of 3 environmental improvement projects in accordance with ISO 14001 recertification requirements.● Creating and monitoring of a chemical register and hazardous waste register using Excel spreadsheets. ● Risk assessments of new and current chemicals used in the factory.● Lead Environmental auditor.● Point of contact and Lead for ISO 14001 certification, which my team achieved in Feb 2023 for the first time.● Monitoring of wastewater treatment plant. Monitoring of pH levels, water outflow using IFM Moneo software. ● Responsible for scheduling of preventative and corrective maintenance of wastewater treatment plant in conjunction with maintenance department.● Technical writing regarding Laboratory reports for customers, Environmental reports for external stakeholders and internal incident reports for management.● Autor of Laboratory procedures, both new and the revision of older procedures. ● Responsible for reporting of Environmental KPIs to HQ in Zurich on a monthly basis, via Excel and Microsoft Team meetings.

● Ensuring that the standards of the Airworthiness Authorities are compiled with.● Conduct Internal Quality Audits and participate as a company representative during Regulatory and Customer Audits.● Liaise with Engineering and production in relation to Customer Return Material and the implementation of Corrective/Preventive actions.● Maintain files of Corrective/Preventive actions.● Keeping manuals, specifications, processes, procedures & the technical library is complete and current.● Negotiations with Airworthiness Authorities concerning the obtaining and maintenance of approvals.

● Creating EASA, FAA & CAAC Authorized Release Certificates for CFM engine components after the Overhaul process.● Schedule daily shipments of overhauled products to our external customers.● Inspect incoming engine components for non-repairable defects before releasing them into production for repair.● Receive deliveries into the goods-in, book incoming engine components onto our database.● Load and unload delivery trucks with counter balance forklift.● Liase with customer support regarding customer requirements and shipping requirements for each customer purchase order.● Additional duties included Grit blast, Visual & Dimensional Inspection, Laser Welding of turbine components.
