My role at BOC was to source and execute M&A transactions across the South Pacific region. During my time I led a range of transaction opportunities within the industrial services, industrial distribution and hire areas within Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and New Caledonia. These included the $45m acquisition of Flexihire, acquisition of Shell's LPG business in New Zealand, a $10m investment in OccCorp Pty Ltd.

My segment focus was on private equity and venture capital which saw me heavily involved in MBOs (Theakstons Brewery, Leagas Delaney), MBIs (Chrysalis TV Mobiles) and start-ups (Vinopolis, MIG Insurance). Additionally, other transactions that I either led or was a key team member for include privatisations (WAGN & GER rail privatisation franchises, National Grid Plc), sales (English Country Cottages, Hawtal Whiting Inc., Salisbury Stores, Lotus Engineering), joint ventures (Diebold Inc., ICI Plc, GATx Inc.) and valuations (Targus Inc., Mercury Paging).
