My team is well qualified and capable and is renowned for its knowledge of the Teachers Pension Scheme and uses this as part of providing holistic financial planning advice to new and existing clients.I enjoy presenting to schools and colleges as this is an integral part of raising awareness of lifetime and annual allowance pension issues, saving tax and protecting lifestyle and family from the impact of shortfalls in their current plans and benefitsMy role is based with the Eastern team which runs from the Humber to the Thames and currently has 11 experienced home based advisors in defined territories providing advice to our chosen clients Show less

Left the London Area Manager role with LTSB IFA for the wider role on Jersey, responsible for the sales and compliance/risk management of 30 advisors working worldwide in different jurisdictions as well as the retail advisors on the island. Led a capable team of first line managers and the support function of 12 administrators to increase business outputs and the capability of the staff which ultimately ended in 2002 with LTSB taking the operation in house and making my team redundant, as there was no prospect of a challenging role for me I decided to move back to England to take stock and do some travelling which ended up lasting almost a year..
