I am an educator, designer, administrator, and UDL specialist with over 15 years of teaching experience and developing accessible, engaging curriculum for all learners. I earned my doctorate in Special Education and Disability Policy in 2023, and have been actively published in peer-reviewed journals since 2013. Whether working with adults to become the next great generation of educators, or helping children in K-8 develop positive learning habits and skills, I love to design accessible learning experiences for all! I have been involved with multi-million dollar research teams at VCU, as well as volunteering my time as the Universal Design and Education Specialist for AAIDD’s Creative Arts Interest Network.
