Writing new and reviewing Standard Operating procedure (SOP). Involved in DMAIC projects where we had to reduce excess material on theShop floor. Implementation of learn,(waste reductions solution, kaizens ) Performing work measurement studies on the floor to identify time wasting steps during production and to eliminate them or improve them if necessary. Ensured that operators adhere to the new implemented Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) project, provide guidance, draft and implement new changes identified. Production Planning. Had to check that all machinery was loaded and that the job card issued, can run the machines for the whole week, report to the production planner which machine needs loading, and which machine can load urgent or critical parts, and which machine needs maintenance and which machine’s TPM is not being filled. Updating the Plant’s layout using Sketchup, Drawing new updates made on the shop floor. Drawing new parts using AutoCad before going into Production Participated in QA walks to discuss scrap, causes , and applies quality tools to come up with a tangible solution Provision lean Training to the operators
