As a Battalion Maintenance Supervisor, I am responsible for maintaining the schedualed services and unschedualed maintenance of over 500 items of equipment in six different companies consisting of wheeled vehicles, material handling Kalmars, forklifts 4-20K generators, and light sets. I am also responsible for the accountability of over $ 1,520,000 worth of class IX repair parts; directly responsible for the overall supervision, training, maintenance, health and wellfare of 173 Soldiers. As the Equal Opportunity Leader, I am responsible for evaluating my battalion to ensure they are in compliance with equal opportunity laws, guidelines, and policies. Investigates reports of noncompliance and acts as an arbitrator to settle disputes in the cases of equal opportunity complaints.
