I pioneered this newly created role which has evolved with my time split between leading the Ballance Graduate program and being responsible for increasing the sales capability within the South Island sales teams. I focus on improving sales capability in our sales team through assessment of skill gaps and providing structured feedback based on sales behaviors to increase competency levels for our sales team. This includes a combination of 1:1 coaching and 1: many trainings.Key achievements: - Building a reputation as one of the top agriculture graduate programs. Identifying and recruiting the best talent into the business and providing a framework and training which has led to our past interns becoming some of our top sales performers in the company- Creating and implemented a new sales induction process and 12-month sales capability training for the sales team which has resulted in a notable increase in our speed to competency for new starts

Responsible for leading a rural sales team and implementing growth initiatives to grow and maintain Ballances presence in the Central South Island region. Key achievements:-Proudly leading the region to 1st equal Ballance Sales region of the year-Achieving regional growth sales budget and margin targets-Managed a cost centre keeping cost controls below budget-Leading key initiatives such as successful business cases and launch of Ballances innovative self-service silos into the region-Coaching and development of team members leading to strong results in the field

The purpose of this role was to provide Ballance shareholders the best nutrient advice and support helping them to farm more productively, profitably and sustainably to allow them to reach their goals. Part time soil test contracting work

I spent the summer of 2013/2014 working for Phillip and Denise Van der Biji and John and Yvonne Lang on their 1600 cow 1330 ha dairy farm in Northern Southland. The farm was comprised of a 80 bale rotary shed and a new wintering barn which can hold up to 1000 cows.
