After 8 years of working in Africa, I've “semi” retired to Santa Fe where I’m a search consultant with DRG Search/Wickenden Associates working with independent and charter schools on securing inspiring leaders to advance their organization’s mission. I am also available for consulting work leveraging my 47years of experience, specializing in all aspects of start-up school ventures (including facility planning, curriculum development, staff recruitment, university counseling, etc.), charter school board and leader mentoring. As the volunteer college counselor at Mandela International School a public school in Santa Fe, I’m also available for university counseling for high school students.Had the great pleasure of revitalizing my African work by spending 5 months at the Haile-Manas Academy in Ethiopia this past year. Such a joy to work again with young people of enormous promise and passion to achieve and to give back one day. Back home to Santa Fe now.
