I undertake protected species surveys (including for badgers, bats, dormice, water voles, otters, GCNs and reptiles); contributed to badger sett exclusions and mitigation; carried out watching briefs during destructive searches; produced technical ecological reports.

I undertook surveys for ecological assessment of a variety of projects, including proposals for wind turbines, flood defence works, conservation projects, and housing/business developments. I also produced reports, mapped sites using GIS technology, inputted data and undertook other office duties e.g. preparing quotes and invoices, liaising with clients and landowners among others.

I carried out a number of ecological surveys across habitats and wildlife classes; produced ecological reports based on survey results and GIS mapping, which contributed to then management plan for an SSSI; liaised with professionals from councils and environment groups; talked to wildlife groups and members of the public to explain work of the team and educate in conservation issues.
