As the head of IT Operations at BearingPoint, I was responsible for the firm-wide IT Service and Support delivery (end-user computing). In addition, I was responsible for the local IT Operations in all countries where we operate (4500 users in 23 countries). I had a team of regional IT Managers reporting to me. The tasks and responsibilities included:- Overall responsibility for the end-user computing areas: IT ServiceDesk (SPoC, ITIL-based), field service and support, managed desktop services, patch management, software distribution and change management (in relevant areas)- To lead, coach and develop a team of international/regional IT Managers.The team and I achieved very high scores in recent IT Satisfaction surveys for our provided services.
