As a Supply Planner my key responsibilities were managing Supplier Schedules through MRP. Minimizing obsolescence, managing new part introduction by setting effectivity dates and keeping inventory levels within the approved limits. To succeed in my role I had to work closely with Material Control, Quality, Production and Purchasing where necessary to create and implement achievable recovery plans for high risk and shortage parts. I was also involved in scenario modelling to assess the impact of changes to demand and supply, working with stakeholders to agree and implement a revised plan to optimize Production. I owned and managed MRP parameters to deliver the correct inventory levels and stability to McLaren’s Operations.Part of my Supply Planner role was the New Project Logistics Coordinator sub role. My responsibilities were creating and implementing the New Project Part Ordering Process and assure the rest of the business adheres to it. To generate, maintain and update a daily Excel file to monitor the movements and demand of the New Project parts from the order placement to the point of fit. Generate status reports for the stakeholders and the rest of the business. Capture BoM errors, monitor demand changes and communicate these to the relevant departments. Work closely with the Project Managers and Engineering to ensure the correct parts are ordered in the correct quantities for the correct date, monitoring orders vs. demand and reporting on obsolescence. At present the above mentioned New Project Part Ordering Process and Logistics Tracker Excel file is the company standard document to manage New Project Logistics.

In this role I was responsible of managing a portfolio of 32 Powertrain and Hybrid supplier, ensuring adherence to delivery schedules in line with production requirements, supplier lead times, and warehousing capacities. To succeed in this role it was key to continuously being aware of, and pro-actively addressing potential or actual shortages, developing supplier relationships, producing comprehensive management reports, working in close liaison with other departments within the organization such as Production and Quality. Minimizing freight costs and obsolescence.

Vertu was the leading luxury mobile phone brand on the market from 2008. After an organization change I have became a Customer Service Planner. This role was similar to my previous role and I’ve kept all the Customer Service and Shipping related activities. In addition I have been taken part in a continuous development project. I was heavily involved in Business Process Mapping, Development of new processes, creating training materials and process flows in Visio, Reporting to execs. I have received a Kudos Award for standardizing the shipping process and reducing the shipping turnaround time from average 9 days to 3 days for standard replenishment shipments and from 3 to 1 day average for fast track shipments.

As a Materials Coordinator my daily responsibilities were insuring continuous supply of spare parts to all 8 Vertu Service Centres in the USA, APAC and Europe by recording and processing spare part requirements from the Service Centres. I was also responsible for creating, managing and delivering Purchase, Sales and Stock Transport orders in SAP to support the customer service requirements. To succeed in my role, I had to work in close relationship with Planning, Finance, Shipping, Warehouse, Operation, Logistics and Sourcing. I was also involved in tracking urgent inbound/outbound deliveries and sub assembly builds so Tier 2 and sub assembly parts can meet the shipping deadlines.

As a Customer Service Material Controller my daily responsibilities were insuring continuous supply of spare parts to 5 of the Vertu Service Centres in APAC and Europe by recording and processing spare part requirements from the Service Centres. I was also responsible for creating Purchase orders in SAP support the customer service shipments. To succeed in my role, I had to work in close relationship with Planning, Shipping, Warehouse and Operations.
