Manager of Boundary Waters Park. A 500 acre sports complex and recreational facility in Douglas County Georgia under the Parks & Recreation Department . I am responsible for all day to day operations in conjunction with our baseball and soccer youth sports associations, facility rentals, and activities. Responsibilities also include field preperation for 8 baseball and 2 soccer fields, scheduling, event set up, athletic field maintenance, project planning, staff management, organize volunteer projects, park maintenance, multi-use trail management, programming, and budgeting. Boundary Waters 10+ miles of hiking/biking/equestrian trails, now include a segment of CHC Greenway Trail, which will eventually connect to trail systems in surrounding counties. The intent of the Regional Greenway project is to connect existing greenspace (county, state and private parks) by creating greenspace corridors.
